One of Europe’s biggest manufacturers of timber Garden Furniture, EKJU ltd, are continuing their surge into the 2021 season as interest builds for several of their new products.

EKJU are known for their high-quality Garden Furniture range and have been supplying products into the UK for a number of years. From the start of the product’s journey, EKJU are obsessed with sustainability and quality. Their products are constructed using FSC Pine and Spruce that grow in the northern European forests. This live wood is high quality and stronger due to its slow growth, ideal for use on garden furniture for its high density and durable qualities.
EKJU stay close to trends across Europe and have an assortment of new garden furniture products and accessories that the UK consumer will love, 26 new products to be precise. The range consists of Picnic Sets, Table & Bench Sets, Garden Benches & Chairs as well as fantastic ‘Grow Your Own’ products, Raised Beds and Planters.
New Furniture Sets
Core range categories have been considerably strengthened. In Garden Table Sets, two new garden table sets have been added to the range. The ‘Garden Set Light’ offers a solid new entry level product, whilst the ‘Garden Set with Cross Legs’ offers a compact solution to alfresco entertaining, which has a robust design, including a back support section for extra comfort. Supplied in a brown pressure treated finish the design is flexible to any garden type whether a traditional or a contemporary look.
In keeping with EKJU’s innovative reputation, there is a new foldable Picnic Bench and Table Set, offering a space saving option in line with smaller gardens that are now occurring, particularly in new build properties. This set is available in pressure treated green and brown and enables the 2 benches to be folded up and stored on the tabletop.
As a more contemporary bench option the new ‘Cubic’ Bench range is ideal for the modern and minimalistic garden space. This range includes a Garden Chair and a 3-seater Garden Bench, both available in pressure treated green and brown. The Cubic range is ideal as standalone garden seating or to be used with a garden table for outdoor entertaining.
New Grow Your Own Products
The Grow Your Own category is going from strength to strength, now with even more planters and accessories to choose from. The stylish ‘Valmiera’ Planter range has been extended to include a vertical and narrow option, providing space efficient options for those with smaller gardens. This range is available in brown, grey and black treatment finishes and is ideal for displaying colourful collections of plants and flowers.
The new ‘Hexagonal Raised Planters’ have a traditional design and provide a suitably sized area to grow in comfort without the need to bend down to tend to flowers and plants. As a collection there are 3 differing heights and is available in 2 differing pressure treatments – green and brown, to protect the product from wood rot and decay.
Showing an appreciation for changing garden sizes, the ‘Triangular Raised Bed’ adds a new dimension to the range with a fantastic way to make the most out of that dead space in the garden by using corners of the garden that aren’t being utilized. The range extension doesn’t stop there, with 6 additional new raised bed products available, including the ‘Vegetable Bed With Horizonal Top’ which is the top of the range 1m x 1m raised bed which has a chunky design and a premium top edge finish for extra protection.

The 26 new products for 2021 join many existing classic designs from EKJU such as the ‘Round Table with Backrests’, the ‘Relax Chair’ and ‘Ceisis Table Set’. EKJU continue to make most products in their range in 3 treatments – Pressure Treated Green, Pressure Treated Brown and Dip Treated Grey.
