About Us
We are a team of dedicated craftsmen with a love for nature and craftsmanship, always using quality materials to create long lasting products.
The Name ’EKJU’ originates from the four founding fathers of EKJU: Egons, Klauss, Juris and Uldis. These four men have had a great impact on the development of EKJU since our establishment back in 1992.
Since 2021, EKJU, EKJU UK and AMATA belongs to a holding company AMATA, owned by the existing management team, that will now press ahead with further growth plans within the AMATA umbrella, using the same formula with the help of its valued existing employees.
We specialize in quality timber garden furniture made from timber sourced from northern European forests. We are committed to sustainability and are certificate holder of the Forest Stewardship Council® (FSC®), license code FSC-C002739; Certification code NC-COC-013354.
